A person was shot outside a movie theater across from the Boston Common early Sunday morning, police said.
At around 2:45 a.m., Boston police officers responded to the AMC Boston Common movie theater at 175 Tremont St. for a report of shots fired, Officer Mark Marron told Boston.com.
Officers found “ballistic evidence” in the street. Witnesses told police they saw a passenger in one vehicle open fire at a person in another vehicle outside the theater, Marron said.
Shortly afterwards, an injured person took themselves to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, according to Marron.
As of Sunday evening, no arrests have been made. The shooting is still under investigation, Marron said.
