Lincoln police seized two guns, including an AK-47, after a report of gunshots Saturday night.
As a result of the incident, police arrested a 20-year-old town resident, and they are now looking for a second suspect — Justin Warner, 20, of Clay, New York — who fled the scene on foot, according to a statement.
The gunfire was reported in the area of South Great Road, near the Weston town line, shortly before midnight. An officer found a car parked in a conservation lot and subsequently located the firearms — the other one was a 9mm handgun.
After the officer arrested the town resident, Lincoln police received help from the Concord, Waltham, Wayland, and Weston police departments, as well as State Police, in their ultimately unsuccessful search for Warner.
Police do not believe Warner is still in the immediate area. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department at 781-259-8113.
