Boston police are investigating after a man allegedly robbed a bank in Downtown Crossing Friday morning.
The robbery was reported at the Citizens Bank at 580 Washington St. around 9:30 a.m., according to the Boston Police Department. The suspect implied to bank staff that he had a weapon, but did not reveal one.
Investigators described the suspect as a black male in his 40s, 5-foot-8, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hat and a green army jacket.
The suspect allegedly took off with some cash, but the amount was not disclosed. No injuries were reported.
No arrests have been made, and the incident remains under investigation.
