Boston police are investigating after two individuals allegedly stole a dog in Dorchester and took it away on a scooter, according to a police statement.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Ceylon Street, according to police. A French bulldog named Bodega had wandered from the area and was picked up by two individuals on a scooter, police said.
The individuals were last seen with the dog in the area of Quincy Street and Ceylon Street, according to police.
Detectives are currently investigating the incident and urge anyone with information to call them at 617-343-4275. Community members can also assist anonymously by calling the CrimeStoppers tip line at 1-800-494-TIPS or by texting “TIP” to CRIME (27463).
