Milton woman hospitalized after being found shot in vehicle, police say
A 43-year-old Milton woman was found in her car with several gunshot wounds Thursday morning, Milton police said.
A 43-year-old Milton woman was hospitalized Thursday after being found with gunshot wounds, Milton police said.
The shooting happened on Belvoir Road at approximately 7:45 a.m., according to a statement from Deputy Chief Mark Alba. The woman was found inside a motor vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
The woman was taken to a Boston hospital for treatment, according to police. As of Thursday night, the incident is still being investigated, and no suspect has been identified. Police said the shooting was not a random act of violence.
