On Monday, Anthony Lopes was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a firearm, armed robbery with a firearm, possession of a large capacity firearm, and carrying a firearm without a license, the department said in a statement.
Lopes allegedly shot a 16-year-old girl in the face outside of her Easton apartment complex on Jan. 14.
The girl, identified as Christina A., was in serious but stable condition at a Boston-area hospital and has had three surgeries as of Jan. 26, according to her GoFundMe page.
“Our family is completely in shambles and in disarray after this tragedy,” her family wrote on the page.
