An employee was allegedly held at gunpoint for cash at a downtown Boston restaurant Sunday night, police said.
Boston police said they responded to a Cava location at 125 Summer St. around 10:24 p.m. The employee told police that he was held at gunpoint while he was closing the restaurant.
The alleged armed robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said, before he fled on foot. No arrests have been made, and it is an active investigation, according to Boston police.
No other details were immediately available. Cava referred inquiries from Boston.com to the police.
