Police are asking for the public’s help finding an individual in connection with an alleged assault involving hot coffee that occurred in Roxbury last month.
The incident happened at 8:50 a.m. on Sept. 28 in the area of 2493 Washington St., according to a statement from the Boston Police Department.
This assault and battery with a dangerous weapon investigation comes after a number of alleged assaults involving everyday objects — including coffee — in Boston.
Police describe the suspect as a “black male, with a beard, wearing a black sweatshirt, tan pants, and carrying a black bag.”
