Brockton 17-year-old shot to death in Taunton
An 18-year-old from Holyoke was also shot.
Authorities are investigating a homicide that occurred just after midnight on Thursday in Taunton.
At 12:25 a.m., Taunton police responded to 351 Lothrop St. to a report of a person shot inside a mobile home, according to a statement from the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office.
The victim, identified as Khamitri Cole, 17, of Brockton, was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:45 a.m., the statement said.
Authorities said an 18-year-old man from Holyoke appears to have been shot in the same incident and took himself to the hospital for nonlife-threatening injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing.
