Boston police are asking for the public to provide information about numerous gold chain robberies over the past month in Roxbury.
Since late August, several male suspects have allegedly “forcibly” stolen gold chains from individuals on multiple occasions, fleeing the scene on mopeds, according to a statement from the Boston Police Department.
In one of the incidents, a suspect was seen pointing a black firearm at a victim, police said.
One victim was in their 60s, but most have been between the ages of 20 and 30, the statement said.
Anyone with information about these incidents is urged to contact District B-2 Detectives at 617-343-4275.
