Police looking for suspect in early morning assault near South Boston bar

Boston police are asking for the public’s help in identifying an individual allegedly involved in an assault near a South Boston bar early Monday morning.
The assault and battery incident occurred at about 12:45 a.m. in the area of Lincoln Tavern at 425 West Broadway, according to police. Authorities have not released details on the incident or said whether any involved parties had been in the nearby watering hole and restaurant.
