A man was shot and killed in Dorchester Saturday night, Boston police said.
Officers responded to 519 Washington Street around 10 p.m., where a man was suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he died, Boston police announced.
The shooting came just a day after another man was fatally stabbed in Dorchester on Friday night. A 38-year-old man from the neighborhood was arrested and charged with murder Saturday.
Officials did not identify the man killed in the shooting on Saturday.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and anyone with any information is asked to call 617-343-4470, Boston police said. Any anonymous tips can be sent to CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1-800-494-TIPS or by texting the word “TIP” to 27463.
