Boston police arrest suspect for allegedly peering through bathroom window in Roxbury

The suspect was arrested in New Bedford on a warrant issued out of Dorchester District Court for secret sexual surveillance and trespassing.

Boston police arrested a 26-year-old man, who was wanted in connection to an incident where a suspect looked into an occupied bathroom window in Roxbury, on Thursday, authorities said.

At 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, officers received a report that someone had peaked into a bathroom window in the area of Devon Street, according to a statement from the Boston Police Department.

John Furr, who was wanted on a warrant issued out of Dorchester District Court for secret sexual surveillance and trespassing, was arrested in New Bedford, police said.

The Boston Police Department said it is actively renewing the “facts and circumstances” surrounding the incident. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact District B-2 detectives at (617) 343-4275.
