Authorities are investigating the murder of a man who was found dead outside a New Bedford supermarket early Tuesday morning.
New Bedford police responded around 3:40 a.m. to a 911 call reporting a man with an injury in front of Seabra Foods at 41 Rockdale Avenue, the Bristol County District Attorney’s office said in a statement. At the scene, first responders found a man suffering from what appeared to be a head injury. He was pronounced dead by medics at 3:56 a.m.
“The investigation into this homicide is active and ongoing,” the DA’s office said.
