A man died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound and a woman and juvenile were left injured by a shooting in Lowell on Friday, authorities said.

The Middlesex County District Attorney’s office said in a statement that an investigation into the South Walker Street shooting is ongoing.

Lowell police responded to reports of a gunshot victim on Wilder Street around midnight, the statement said. Police found a juvenile male, who had been shot and is now in stable condition. The DA said police then learned the shooting occurred in a home on South Walker Street.
