A death investigation is underway following a shooting in Jamaica Plain Sunday night, police say.
District 13 officers responded to a report of a person shot at New Washington Street and the Arborway shortly after 10 p.m.
At the scene, police found a man with gunshot wounds. The victim was treated at a local hospital where he died soon after, police said.
No arrests have been made, and the Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is reviewing the incident.
