Driver of stolen car may have hit up to 20 vehicles in Dorchester

As of Tuesday, police are still looking for the driver.

The Boston Police Department is still on the lookout for the driver of a stolen vehicle that crashed into upwards of 20 cars Monday afternoon. 

Police were tracking a stolen vehicle from downtown Boston in Dorchester when they received a 911 call at about 2:56 p.m. that a car had crashed into 15 to 20 vehicles at 392 Centre St., according to Mark Marron, a spokesperson for the Boston Police Department. The driver fled the scene on foot. 

Officers found the stolen car near the crash site at 12 Leslie St. and confirmed it was the same car stolen from downtown. 

Police are continuing to look for the driver of the stolen vehicle.

No arrests have been made, according to Barron. The investigation is ongoing.
