Police are investigating after a man was found dead in the trash area behind a business where he was working Saturday night in what officials said was apparent homicide.
Framingham police responded to a business on Worcester Road at about 10 p.m. Saturday, Middlesex District Attorney Marian T. Ryan’s office said in a statement. There, they discovered a 30-year-old man dead in the trash area behind the building.
The man, a resident of Framingham, was an employee at the business and had been working Saturday night, according to preliminary investigation.
“The victim had obvious trauma to his body and the case has been referred to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine cause of death,” Ryan’s office said.
The death, which the office called an apparent homicide, is being investigated by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, State Police, and Framingham police.
Anyone with information or who saw something unusual in the area of 1 Worcester Road Saturday night is asked to call Framingham police at 508-532-5923.
