Worcester police asking for public’s help after 24-year-old killed in early morning shooting

The man was pronounced dead at the hospital Saturday morning.

Police are investigating after a 24-year-old man was shot and killed in Worcester, officials said. 

Worcester police responded to a Shotspotter activation on Allendale Street at about 2:20 a.m. Saturday, the department said in a statement

A 24-year old man was found unresponsive at the scene. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital. 

Anyone with information is asked to submit an anonymous tip by texting 274637 TIPWPD or by calling detectives at (508) 799 – 8651.
