A Massachusetts man was arrested in Manchester, New Hampshire, over the weekend after allegedly fleeing police at over 100 mph in the early morning hours.
A state trooper initially observed a gray 2020 Chevrolet Trax traveling more than 100 mph “while failing to maintain its lane of travel on Interstate 93 in Londonderry,” according to state police.
The trooper attempted to stop the SUV as it went north, but the driver refused to stop, police said. A pursuit was initiated, with the driver allegedly continuing at speeds as high as 108 mph.
The driver continued to Interstate 293 in Manchester where troopers deployed stop sticks. Two of the vehicle’s tires were deflated, and it stopped soon after.
The driver was identified as Jonathen Petrie, 32. Petrie is charged with reckless conduct, disobeying an officer, resisting arrest, and other violation-level offenses. He was scheduled to appear in Manchester District Court.
