Police have identified and are searching for a suspect in connection with the murders of a mother and daughter found shot in a car in Worcester Tuesday afternoon.
Another suspect connected to the murders is in custody, police said.
Dejan Belnavis, 27, is wanted for armed assault with intent to murder and possession of a firearm without a license in connection to the murders of Chastity Nunez and her 11-year-old daughter Zella Nunez, Worcester police said at about 10 p.m. Wednesday.
Belnavis is described as 5’11” and about 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached, police said in the statement.

A second person was arrested in connection with the deaths, police said, but further details about him were not released.
Police found the mother and daughter suffering from gunshot wounds in a parked vehicle after responding to the area of 1 Lisbon St. at about 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Both victims were declared deceased after being taken to the hospital.
Video from the scene shared by WCVB-TV showed an SUV riddled with bullet holes.
