Police release video, ask for help identifying car possibly involved in fatal I-95 shooting in Foxborough

The occupant of the vehicle is believed to have fired multiple shots into a black Mercedes, killing 37-year-old Justin Parker of North Attleborough.

Massachusetts State Police

Officials released dashboard camera footage Tuesday of a sedan possibly involved in a fatal shooting on I-95 in Foxborough earlier this month.

The vehicle — a gray, silver, or dark-colored sedan — is seen on the right side of the video speeding and driving erratically on I-95 Southbound sometime before 10 p.m. on Feb. 3, officials said. The vehicle is possibly a Hyndai Sonata that has undergone cosmetic modifications, according to a press release from State Police and the Norfolk District Attorney’s office.

The video shows the moments after the driver of the sedan allegedly fired multiple shots into a black Mercedes, killing Justin R. Parker, 37, of Chestnut Street in North Attleborough. Parker’s car then swerved into a Lexus SUV, which crashed off the road. All occupants of the SUV survived.

Investigators are urging those with information about the owner of the sedan to call 781-327-9801.

Those who possibly see the vehicle should not try to approach it, Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey said in a statement.
