A man was arrested at South Station Saturday night after he allegedly attacked a McDonald’s employee for touching the lid of his drink, MBTA Transit Police said.
At around 7 p.m. Saturday, MBTA police at South Station arrested a 34-year-old man, whose name was not released, after he struck a McDonald’s employee “several times” with his fists, according to a statement by the Transit Police.
The man allegedly “became upset when the employee touched the lid of his drink,” officials said.
The victim was treated on scene, police said in the statement.
