Police seek suspect in hate crime at MBTA station

The suspect allegedly accosted two women with racial and homophobic slurs.

MBTA Transit Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a suspect who allegedly committed a hate crime at the Charles/MGH stop.

The incident occurred on Jan. 19 at 7 a.m. According to Transit Police Superintendent Richard Sullivan, the suspect allegedly targeted an Asian woman with threatening language and referred to a Caucasian woman with a homophobic slur. 

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is advised to call police at 617-222-1050.
