MBTA Transit Police are asking the public for help identifying two male suspects who allegedly robbed one man and assaulted another on Sunday night at Downtown Crossing.
Police report that at around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 19, the two suspects robbed an unhoused man sleeping in the concourse.
While in the middle of the robbery, another man in the area intervened and told the assailants to stop.
The two responded by punching and kicking this man’s head and body, transit police said. He was then transported to a local hospital for his injuries.
Police are now asking anyone who recognizes the men or has any information to call 617-222-1050 or send an anonymous text to 873873.
