2 shot, injured near Fenway Park early Friday

Two people were shot early Friday morning near Fenway Park, and the suspect remains at large, according to Boston police.

The incident happened around 2 a.m. outside on Lansdowne Street, Sgt. John Boyle, a police spokesman, told Boston.com. One person was shot multiple times and was rushed to a nearby hospital with serious but nonlife-threatening injuries. The other victim was shot once and self-transported to a nearby hospital.

The investigation continues, according to Boyle.
