Cambridge Police report they arrested a man on Tuesday morning in connection with an armed robbery and carjacking that occurred last week.
Dennis Kelley, a 43-year-old from Cambridge, was arrested for armed robbery and armed carjacking by local and state police, as well as U.S. marshalls. He was taken into custody without incident.

The initial robbery occurred on Thursday, August 12 at a nail salon on Cambridge Street. An employee reported to police that a man flashed a gun and demanded money from the business.
After taking money from the nail salon, the man then reportedly left on foot and went to the McDonald’s on McGrath Highway in Somerville.
A Medford woman reported an armed carjacking occurred in the McDonald’s parking lot and the suspect took off in her Toyota RAV4. The car was later found abandoned off of the McGrath Highway near train tracks.
Kelley is scheduled to be arraigned in Cambridge District Court.
