Boston police have arrested a 29-year-old man in connection with gunshots fired in Back Bay Wednesday night near Newbury Street.
Brandon Sicard of Boston was arrested by District 4 detectives on Thursday. The shooting occurred on Fairfield Street in between Newbury Street and Boylston Street around 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

No injuries were reported, but several vehicles and businesses were damaged, including a shattered window at Fidelity Investments.
Sicard is charged with assault by means of a dangerous weapon (firearm), unlawful possession of a firearm, and firearm discharged within 500 feet of a dwelling. He will be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.
No further details have been released and police reported the investigation is still ongoing.
