Suspect arrested for West Roxbury road rage stabbing

Drew Lamb, a 27-year-old from Medford, will be arraigned tomorrow.

On Tuesday, Massachusetts State Police reported they arrested a suspect for stabbing a man during a road rage incident in West Roxbury on Saturday.

Drew Lamb, a 27-year-old from Medford, was identified as the assailant in the stabbing incident after a State Police investigation. He will be arraigned tomorrow in Boston Municipal Court.

This afternoon, the State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section (MSP VFAS) reportedly found the vehicle Lamb was driving during the incident. State Police and Salem Police Detectives soon met the MSP VFAS.

The car – a black 2010 Cadillac CTS – was spotted parked outside a residence on Porter Street in Salem. Police reported the location was the home of a “known associate of Lamb’s.”

Lamb was then taken into custody without incident according to police and his Cadillac was towed to a State Police facility.

Lamb was then transported to the State Police-Danvers Barracks. Police reported he was booked on a warrant and will be held overnight.

The initial stabbing occurred on Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Centre Street and the VFW Parkway. After the investigation, police now report Lamb and the driver of a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck were the two cars involved.

The Tacoma and Cadillac were reportedly passing each other while the operators exchanged words. They then pulled over on the parkway, right before Centre Street, when the two got out of their cars to fight.

This is when police believe Lamb stabbed the other driver in the chest and then fled the scene in his Cadillac.

The victim was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital where he suffered non-life threatening injuries. He was released from the hospital on Sunday.
