Boston police have identified a suspect wanted in the murder of a woman in Roslindale last week.
Police are searching for Akil Jackson, described as a 41-year-old Black male. His last known address is in Easton.
On July 29, 42-year-old Alicia Heywood of South Easton was fatally shot at the corner of Corinth Street and Birch Street.
“Jackson should be considered armed and dangerous and if observed, contact 911 immediately,” police wrote in a statement.
Police are asking anyone with information to call the Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470 or leave anonymous tips at the CrimeStoppers Tip Line.
