Fatal shooting investigated in Somerville after roommates argue, authorities say
SOMERVILLE – A 22-year-old Cambridge man died after being shot Wednesday in an incident that began as a verbal argument with his roommate, the alleged shooter, according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan.
Robert Favreau, was pronounced dead inside the Ware Street home after police arrived following a 911 call reporting that a man had been shot inside the home, Ryan said.
When police first arrived, they found a man outside the home holding a handgun. Ryan said the man, identified as 26-year-old Edson Marino, 26,of Somerville, followed officers’ orders to put the gun on the ground, and he was placed under arrest.
