14-year-old allegedly stabs teen, also 14, in Hopkinton

The victim suffered serious but nonlife-threatening injuries, police said.

A 14-year-old boy allegedly stabbed a fellow 14-year-old boy in Hopkinton on Thursday afternoon, according to local police.

Officers responded to the apartment complex on Constitution Court shortly before 2 p.m. for a report of a stabbing and found the victim with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police said. He was taken to an area hospital.

The 14-year-old suspect turned himself into police that night; he is facing a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and was expected to be arraigned in juvenile court Friday.

“No bail was posted after he was booked and he was released into the custody of his parents overnight,” police said.
