Mass. man arrested after allegedly driving 142 mph in N.H.

As New Hampshire state troopers were working along Route 16 in Rochester around 8 p.m. Sunday night, they clocked a vehicle traveling southbound at roughly 142 mph, according to a press release.After stopping the vehicle near the Rochester Toll Plaza, police arrested Christopher M. Fren, 20, of Franklin, Massachusetts, and charged him with reckless operation, the release says. The vehicle, meanwhile, was towed.Fren was released, and he’s scheduled to appear in court on May 12.
