Cohasset Police arrested a Norwell man who allegedly broke into an Atlantic Avenue home early Sunday morning.

Dylan Donahue, 27, was arrested after allegedly trying to break into the same home Sunday evening. The homeowner alerted police of the second attempted break-in after getting a text alert from his doorbell camera, which clearly captured Donahue’s face during his alleged early morning break-in.

Officers found Donahue in the backyard after getting a call from the homeowner, who wasn’t home at the time.

Donahue was arrested in connection with the early morning break-in and is charged with nighttime breaking and entering and possession of burglary tools. He could face additional charges as police investigate whether he stole anything during his initial alleged break-in, or the thwarted follow-up attempt.
