A Northampton woman allegedly threw a bloody tampon at supporters of President Donald Trump who were rallying on Main Street in Northampton back in October.Brooke Wallis, 23, was initially charged with disorderly conduct and assault by means of a dangerous weapon for the Oct. 18 incident, the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office said Wednesday in a press release. However, prosecutors have now dismissed the assault charge.During a virtual hearing Wednesday, Wallis agreed to be placed on pretrial probation for four months on the disorderly conduct charge, authorities said, and during that period, she must complete 30 hours of community service. Provided she stays out of legal trouble, too, that charge will also be dismissed after her probation.
