Boston police release video showing suspect wanted in Public Garden sexual assault

The assault happened just after 2 a.m. on Sunday, according to police.

Boston police have released video of a suspect being sought in connection with a sexual assault in Boston Public Garden early Sunday morning.

The short clip shows the man in a dark jacket and jeans, with a yellow hood pulled over a baseball cap and what appears to be a face mask around his chin.

The assault happened around 2:03 a.m., according to police. The suspect allegedly encountered the victim on Bromfield Street, then forced her through the Common and into the Garden where the assault took place. Since then, police have released a couple photos of the suspect.
