A total of 13 people were shot, one fatally, in six separate incidents in Boston over the weekend, according to police.The violent stretch began late Friday night when police were called to 11 Creighton St. in Jamaica Plain for a report of shots fired around 11 p.m. There, they found three males suffering from gunshot wounds. All were taken to hospitals, where one of them, an adult, later died. The other two victims were believed to have nonlife-threatening injuries, police said in a press release.On the way to the hospital, authorities found that one of the injured men had a gun in his boot, and he was arrested. Kelvin Pimentel, 28, of Jamaica Plain, is being charged with carrying a loaded firearm without a license, carrying a firearm without a license, and unlawful possession of ammunition. He was expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court.Not long afterward, police were first called to 94 Homes Ave. in Dorchester for a report of a person shot around 12:37 a.m. Saturday. A man was found to have sustained gunshot wounds believed to be nonlife-threatening, according to police.Then, at 12:56 a.m., officers were sent to 48 Ruthven St. in Roxbury for a person shot. The victim, another man, was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries thought to be nonlife-threatening, police said.Late Saturday, police were sent to 27 Harwood St. in Dorchester around 11:49 p.m. via a shot-spotter activation where they found 2 juveniles suffering from gunshot wounds, injuries believed to be nonlife-threatening, according to police. A third victim, a man, brought himself to a hospital with injuries that appeared life-threatening. There wasn’t an update on his condition on Monday morning.On Sunday, police were called to 5 Elizabeth St. in Mattapan around 9:42 p.m. following a shot-spotter activation. There, officers found two men suffering from gunshot wounds that appeared nonlife-threatening, police said. The latest incident occurred early Monday morning in Brighton. Police were called to 13 Fidelis Way for a report of a person shot around 12:32 a.m. When officers arrived, they found three adult men at 1211 Jette Court suffering from nonlife-threatening gunshot wounds. They were taken to a nearby hospital.All of the incidents remain under investigation, police said.
