Police: Woman releases pepper spray in a Dunkin’, flees scene

The suspect could be charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, a felony.

Police in Milford are searching for a woman who allegedly discharged pepper spray in a Dunkin’ on Sunday, causing roughly a dozen people to feel sick.No one had to be hospitalized due to the attack, Milford Police Chief Michael Pighetti told Wicked Local, but about 10 to 15 people felt sick afterward; nine of those were workers. Multiple people were treated at the scene. Customers also fled the building before authorities arrived.Police are continuing to search for the pepper spraying assailant, and if caught, she could be charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, a felony, according to the news service.
