A patrol officer tended to one of the victims, who was seriously wounded, while waiting for ambulance personnel and Brockton Firefighters to arrive on scene, police said.
Two of the victims reportedly made it to the hospital on their own with non-life-threatening injuries, and an ambulance transported the other three men to nearby hospitals.
Brockton police said several people reported hearing gunshots, and the city’s electronic gunshot detection system, ShotSpotter, determined that six rounds went off in the area.
Police recovered five shell casings from the scene, according to the release.
Local authorities, alongside Plymouth District Attorney’s Office detectives, are currently investigating the incident.
No additional information has been immediately released as of Sunday morning.
