Arrest made in stabbing death of 19-year-old in Weymouth

A 26-year-old woman has been charged with the murder of a 19-year-old who was fatally stabbed in Weymouth on Thursday night.Kelsey Debello of Pleasant Street in Weymouth was arrested and charged Friday with the murder of Ryan M. Martin, the Norfolk district attorney’s office said in a statement.Earlier Friday, authorities said Martin was stabbed by a “party known to him” at a gathering in a wooded area near 83 Colonels Drive on Thursday night. Martin was transported to South Shore Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.“Weymouth and State Police detectives attached to the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office developed information very quickly and were able to begin the process of determining Ms. Debello’s whereabouts,” District Attorney Michael Morrissey said in a statement. “She was located and taken into custody without incident at the residence of an acquaintance in Hanover, with the assistance of the Hanover Police Department.”Arraignment information for Debello was not immediately available.
