Man in his 30s fatally stabbed in Cambridge’s Central Square, found by jogger

The man has not been publicly identified pending notification of his family.

A man in his 30s was stabbed to death in Cambridge’s Central Square neighborhood on Tuesday evening.The man was found on Franklin Street by a jogger, according to the Middlesex district attorney’s office. Authorities believe the stabbing happened around 5:18 p.m near Green Street and Sidney Place after an altercation.The victim was found to have multiple stab wounds. He was brought to Massachusetts General Hospital and pronounced dead, a news release from the district attorney’s office said.The man has not been publicly identified pending the notification of his family, according to officials. No suspects have been identified.Anyone with information is asked to contact Cambridge police.
