Police: Man smashes home’s window, grabs woman on couch
LINCOLN, R.I. (AP) — An 18-year-old man was arrested after authorities say he smashed the window of a Rhode Island home and grabbed a woman who was sitting on a couch.
Police said Jared Yankee smashed the window of a home in Lincoln Saturday evening and grabbed the woman, who was sitting on a couch by the window.
Police said the woman was able to break free from his grasp and Yankee then paced around the yard and yelled.
When officers arrived, police said Yankee was shirtless and wearing flannel pants. Police said he refused to comply with officers’ commands and was eventually restrained and arrested.

Yankee faces charges including simple assault and resisting arrest. It was not immediately clear on Sunday whether he has an attorney.
