Quincy man arrested for kicking service dog in South Station

The man allegedly said, "Get that F****** dog out of my way."

MBTA Transit Police arrested Willam Bagen, 43, for Animal Cruelty after an alleged altercation with a service dog near the Red Line subway platform area Wednesday afternoon.

In a report put out by the transit police, officers described they were approached by a female passenger around 4:40 p.m,  who informed them that a man had just kicked her service dog in the head.

By her account, the man allegedly said, “Get that F****** dog out of my way,” before striking the animal.

Transit police located Bagen, of Quincy, on the outbound platform, and the reporting party positively identified him as the man who assaulted her service dog.

Bagen was placed into custody for Cruelty to Animals and booked.
