State police seek truck after gunshots fired at cars
The suspect was allegedly shooting at other cars on Saturday afternoon while driving northbound along Route 24 in Randolph.
State police are investigating after someone allegedly shot at other vehicles from out the window of a pickup truck while driving on Route 24 northbound. The incident reportedly happened around 3 p.m. on Saturday near Randolph, according to a state police news release. Police said a driver called and explained that someone was firing a gun from inside a dark-colored truck, aiming at other cars on the road. After being unable to locate the truck, police said another man called in, reporting that something had broken the back window of his Toyota Sienna van. State police and detectives met with him and reported that the van had been struck by gunfire. No injuries have been reported and state police said all local departments have been asked to look for the truck.As police continue to investigate the incident, they ask anyone with information, or anyone who was in the area and saw a dark-colored pickup truck on Saturday, to contact the Massachusetts State Police Troop H Detectives at 617-740-7812.
