3 stabbed, 1 arrested in Dorchester

The alleged attacker and two other people suffered injuries.

A man was arrested and taken to a Boston hospital after a stabbing incident in Dorchester Sunday night, Boston police said. The alleged attacker and two other people suffered injuries, but none of the injuries were considered to be life-threatening, police said.

Sergeant Detective John Boyle, a police spokesman, said that when police responded to an address on Dorchester Avenue near Parkman Street at 10:45 p.m. officers saw a man walking out of the front door with a pocket knife.

Carl West, 66, was arrested and charged with assault with intent to murder and assault and battery with a deadly weapon. West was taken to Carney Hospital for treatment, Boyle said. Finish the story at BostonGlobe.com.
