Police: Driver of box truck charged with DUI after crashing into Stoughton building

A man behind the wheel of a box truck that slammed into a building and several vehicles in Stoughton Tuesday has been arrested.

James Obala, 50, was charged with driving under the influence and negligent driving after his truck swerved, hit three cars, and struck a building on Technology Center Drive, WCVB reports.

The impact of the crash left part of the truck inside the building, according to the news station.

A building inspector was slated to review the damage, WCVB reports.

“US Mail” could be seen written on the truck, but officials said the U.S. Postal Service did not operate the vehicle, the news station said.
