Marlborough Apple store robbed twice in two days, loses over $17,000 in merchandise
Police haven't identified the suspects and are seeking the public's help.
Marlborough police are working to identify a group of men who quietly robbed an Apple store in November. In two days, the store was reportedly hit twice and lost $17,600 in merchandise.
The store at Solomon Pond Mall was hit back-to-back on Nov. 17 and 18, according to police.
On Nov. 17, two men allegedly stole $8,900 worth of product from the store: 15 Apple Watches, two Apple Pencils, and a pair of Beats headphones.
The next day, a group of three men allegedly stole $8,700 in merchandise, inducing 15 Apple Watches.
The suspects have not been identified, according to Marlborough police spokesperson Sgt. Zac Attaway.
He said the men walked in and took the items, which were unsecured, off of displays. Then they walked out without drawing attention to themselves.
Anyone who recognizes the men is asked to call Marlborough police at 508-485-1212 or message them through Facebook.
