Police searching for man who ‘violently assaulted’ female at North Station

Police said the attack was unprovoked.

Police are looking for a man accused of violently assaulting a female Wednesday at North Station.

According to a press release, he is wanted for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, believed to be a blunt object. He allegedly assaulted the female “without provocation” around 10:30 p.m.

The female was injured as a result of the incident, the release said.

Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to contact MBTA Transit Police at 617-222-1050. Anonymous tips can be texted to 873873 or submitted through the SeeSay app.
