Boston police are searching for a man they say hit at least two people in the head and then ripped their rear pants pockets to steal their wallets in October.
Both incidents happened near South Huntington Avenue. One was just before 9 p.m. on Oct. 22, and the other was around 11 p.m. on Oct. 26. The suspect ran away before police arrived in both instances.
The victims told officers they were hit with “either his clenched fist or an unidentified solid object,” according to police. One was injured during the robbery and taken to a local hospital.
