32-year-old woman arrested in connection to fatal Worcester stabbing
The victim was a 40-year-old Worcester man.
A 32-year-old woman was arrested Friday morning in Worcester in connection with the fatal stabbing of man in the city’s Greendale neighborhood. Worcester police said officers responded to a 911 call, reporting a stabbing at an address in the neighborhood around 8:55 a.m. When they arrived, officers found a 40-year-old Worcester man suffering from a stab wound to his torso. He was treated at the scene and then transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.A woman, who is a resident of Worcester, was placed under arrest at the scene. She has been charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon (a knife) resulting in serious bodily injury. As of Friday afternoon, authorities had not released the name of the victim or his alleged attacker.
